STYLE: LONDON OOTDS

July 18, 2014

I've talked about my experiences and sights from my London trip... however I haven't even talked about the most important part... my ootds! It was 60's and cloudy on Thursday, a bit better (70s) on Friday, and beautiful 80's on Saturday! That explains why it was tourist mania in central London Saturday. My handy dandy green jacket kept me warm and stylish during the cold days. I picked it up last weekend during the Old Navy sale!

It's light and the perfect length. It's great for the end of summer and the beginning of fall. It's army-like details such as the color and the zippers give it enough style and sophistication to liven up any look!

Style: These Boots Are Made For Killing It

November 01, 2013

Have you ever acquired a piece of your wardrobe and just had no other words for your excitement but "UGH. I CAN'T"!? Maybe you have other words of excitement that aren't so stereotypical white girl, however these boots just made me speechless. I almost squealed as I saw them scrolling through JustFab.com. I highly recommend you getting your staple riding boots for fall there if you want to look like you broke the bank without actually breaking it. Another reason I'm excited is because I actually somehow misplaced my Aldo riding boots when I moved houses this summer.. maybe it was the movers.. hmmm. (just kidding!)

I'm way too obsessed with the details of these light brown suede beauties. I love that the toe is almost ombre, it is dark to light. I love the buckle detail as well. They fit like a glove and I can easily just slip them on.
They make any outfit sophisticated and are perfect for walking around in fall!

Here, I paired them with jeggings from Delias in a dark wash, a white v neck, a camo button down with jeweled details, and my new favorite gold necklace from BP by Nordstrom. I didn't forget my arm candy, of course.

I'm dying to know, what do your staple boots for fall look like?

MEMORIAL DAY OOTD!

May 27, 2013

Hello all! I hope you're enjoying your holiday weekend. I know I have, and I'm even more excited for what's to come this week. What's your plans for today? A parade, cookout, maybe the beach? Today I did my usual Memorial Day tradition, watching the local parade then boating and a cookout on the lake. I loove being on the lake. I think I've mastered dressing for it by now! Memorial Day is the warm up to mixing in beach clothes and regular clothes - something that will become a popular occurrence in the upcoming months.
This was my OOTD! I had a bandeau on, because I wasn't sure if it was warm enough to swim or not. But I thought I'd break out a t shirt and shorts, and accent it with a hair tie and a crochet vest. The vest is from H&M. The mint top is from Delias, I like the open back because it can expose a bandeau for an extra surprise. Since the top is simple, I thought my new tribal hair tie from Aeropostale would be a good twist. My last twist are my ombre denim shorts. I love ombre in every which way. Lastly, I just wore flip flops today, but mint or coral vans would go great with this look!
Here's me with my friend Bree, it seems that high waisted shorts was the theme today. What was your Memorial Day OOTD and how was your day? Don't be shy!
